VIP Executive Eden Aparthotel

"I’ll start with the good things. This hotel is in one of the most beautiful buildings in Lisbon. It is in a great location and has a roof bar with exceptional views of Lisbon. Sadly, that’s where it ends. I’ve stayed several times in other VIPExecutive hotels and been pleased. They were clean and modern and offered good value for the money. The Teatro Eden was pretty terrible. The rooms are shoddy and threadbare. They look like they haven’t been updated since the 80’s. There was a strong smell of room deodorizer that made my eyes water. It seemed to me that they were using it to cover another smell. From my sneezing, I’m guessing mold and/or mildew. The public areas aren’t too bad but also badly need renovation. The breakfast was passable, but the dining area was too small for the number of guests. Because of the lovely exterior, I was looking forward to my stay, but I was very disappointed. I honestly don’t understand how this is a four star hotel. There are many better places in Lisbon to stay, including others in the chain."

"I recently stayed at VIP Executive Eden Apart Hotel in Lisbon with my husband, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We had specifically reserved a double bed room, but upon arrival, we were given a twin room instead. When we raised this, the staff told us that no double rooms were available. This was extremely frustrating — if the hotel cannot guarantee the room type, they should not accept bookings for it in the first place. The condition of the hotel was also far below expectations. The entire place feels very outdated, almost like stepping into a Soviet-era building. The room itself was old and uninviting, to the point where we didn’t even feel comfortable staying in it. Overall, the experience did not match what was advertised, and I would not recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and reliable stay in Lisbon. The only advantage is the location!"

"Hotel is old and cleanliness is lacking. Receptionist looks like they don't know their own system and confused with the bookings but worst is their attitude, they don't care about guest' needs , they even ignoring them."
