"We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our wedding in Lisbon. Palacio do Governador was the perfect hotel for us and our guests, and we’re so glad we chose it. The hotel was able to accommodate bookings for all of our family and many of our friends, which made such a difference to the whole wedding weekend. Finding a hotel in Lisbon that could accommodate a larger group while still feeling personal and intimate was tricky, but Palacio do Governador had the perfect balance. It was large enough for everyone to stay together, but was still charming and the service maintained a personal touch. We also organised our wedding welcome drinks on the beautiful terrace, entirely remotely from the UK, and Noelia and her team were fantastic throughout. They were attentive, responsive and helpful, always getting back to us quickly and with all the detail we needed. They made organising an event from another country feel easy and were so accommodating with all our requests. The hotel itself is luxurious and beautiful, with so much history and character. We loved the pool and spa, and the setting made it a lovely place to relax after the busier wedding preparations. The location is also fantastic, particularly for exploring the museums and sights nearby. The whole team made us and our guests feel incredibly well looked after throughout our stay. Having so many of our favourite people staying together in such a beautiful hotel made the wedding weekend feel even more special. We would absolutely recommend Palacio do Governador to anyone visiting Lisbon, and we very much hope to be back soon!"

"After a long trip abroad, it was fabulous to end our trip in Lisbon at this gorgeous hotel. The staff is so friendly and professional. We checked in today and there a knock at the door. Staff came by to welcome us with two of the traditional custard pastries and citrus water. What a lovely touch! Our room is beyond beautiful and so spacious. We look forward to trying all the amenities from the restaurant to the spa."
