My Story Hotel Ouro

"Really had no idea where this hotel was located and we were so pleasantly surprised it was in an excellent location to walk to local attractions, the ocean, and transportation. We did not have a car, so easy transportation was important. We also had the most amazing front desk help with transportation to a cork farm that was not easy to get to. Nara booked our bus, round trip, for this adventure. We couldn't have done it without her help! The rooms are clean and well appointed. Our room was on the small side, including the shower, for a 5-day stay. The other couple asked for an inside room fearing noise. This resulted in a much larger room (handicapped). We wanted windows and did not have any trouble with noise traffic outside. The complimentary breakfast was very good, and the hours were good to make a breakfast early (7) to later in the morning. Note, it's good to get there earlier to have a large variety of pastries and hot items (eggs, meat, beans). The yogurt tends to run out if arriving later, as well. We arranged transportation to the airport with them as well. So easy and efficient. The price was very reasonable for the location of this hotel, a good value."

"Excellent location. Stylish hotel, room was smallish but expected for a city hotel. Room facilities were excellent. Breakfast buffet was good, however when it is busy it's little awkward. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very close walking distance to all areas. Plenty of restaurants and shops very close by. The hotel and rooms was clean and bright with everything you need for a short break. The windows have great sound proofing which was brilliant!"
