"My initial impression of the hotel was positive. The check-in process was smooth, and the bell staff were courteous and helpful. I appreciated that the hotel accommodated my request to extend my stay in the same room, though the additional charges were significantly higher. The location itself was convenient and well-situated. Unfortunately, the experience declined over the following days. The room was dated. The room cleaning services were poor, and I became uneasy when I noticed my personal items, including expensive creams, diminishing in quantity—so much so that I felt compelled to lock them away. The room was not properly cleaned, bath towels were worn and tattered, and the shampoo dispenser frequently failed to work. When I raised these issues with reception, there was no sense of concern or apology. The same indifference was reflected in the manager, a blonde lady, who came across as dismissive and unapproachable, not even offering a basic greeting when passing by. Breakfast was another disappointment. The food selection was limited and below expectations, and the service was poor. One waitress in particular was extremely loud, constantly banging plates and cutlery and speaking in a way that made mornings feel unpleasant rather than welcoming. Overall, while the location and initial service were commendable, the lack of proper housekeeping, poor amenities, indifferent management, and substandard breakfast service made my stay unsatisfactory. For a hotel of this reputation, I expected far better."
