This family-owned gem, part of the Lisbon Heritage Collection and run by the same family since the 1950s, perfectly blends classic Portuguese elegance with warm, welcoming hospitality. Location: 10/10 Tucked just off the elegant Avenida da Liberdade, the hotel enjoys a prime yet peaceful spot in the heart of Lisbon. You’re steps away from luxury shopping, beautiful parks, and the Botanical Gardens, while all the major attractions — Rossio Square, Baixa, Chiado, and the metro — are within easy walking distance. It feels central without the noise and crowds. Perfect for both first-time visitors and those who know the city well. Rooms & Comfort: 9.5/10 Our room was spacious by Lisbon standards, beautifully decorated in a traditional style with modern touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the marble bathroom spotless and luxurious, and the thoughtful details (like the lovely tiled desk and cozy seating) made it feel special. Everything was immaculately clean, quiet thanks to double-glazed windows, and well-maintained. We slept like babies every night. Staff & Service: 10/10 The staff are the real highlight — genuinely friendly, professional, and attentive. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful recommendations for restaurants and sights, they made us feel like valued guests rather than just another booking. Long-serving team members give the hotel that rare homely, personal touch you don’t often find in bigger chains. Breakfast: 9.5/10 One of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had! The buffet is extensive and high-quality, with fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, hot options, and even a chocolate fountain that brought a smile every morning. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is relaxed and elegant — a perfect start to the day. Facilities & Atmosphere The elegant lounge areas with plush seating and fresh flowers are ideal for relaxing with a drink or reading a book. The rooftop terrace offers lovely views and a peaceful spot for sunset with an honesty bar. There’s also a small gym if you need to burn off those pastéis de nata! This is a true 4-star boutique experience with 5-star heart. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway, a family trip, they are also very pet- friendly, or a solo adventure, Hotel Lisboa Plaza delivers charm, comfort, and unbeatable value. "Very nice hotel, comfortable beds, coffee tea and water in lounge. Breakfast is a bit limited but adequate. The location is good, about a 10 or 15 minutes to Rosario Sq."
