Dear Lisbon Gallery House

"We had the most amazing stay at Dear Lisbon Gallery House! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and welcome from the staff was second to none. A special thank you to Tessa and Samuel who went above and beyond to make our stay special, but honestly every single staff member we met throughout the trip was fantastic. The location is brilliant - so many cute little shops and restaurants right on the doorstep, and Tram 28 stops right at the door which made getting around so handy. The hotel itself is spotless, and I loved the little touch of getting a fresh note left after the room was cleaned each day - such a nice personal touch. Rituals Cosmetics in the room was a lovely surprise too, made it feel really luxurious. Breakfast was a real highlight - the buffet was so fresh and changed every day, plenty of variety to keep things interesting. It was made even more special when Tessa surprised my husband with a little cake for his birthday at breakfast - such a thoughtful touch that we weren’t expecting at all and really made his day. The mini bar was well priced too, which you don’t always get in hotels! Overall the place is so stylish and comfortable, felt like a proper home away from home."

"I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would not hesitate to book again if ever we return to Lisbon. Located in a lovely area within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops and a supermarket, plus the Parliament building was a short walk away. Incredibly friendly staff welcomed us with refreshments during the short booking-in process, offering advice about what was available locally and day trips etc. The staff in general are an asset to the hotel. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, our room being spacious and comfortable. It was front facing, looking out onto the street and had a small balcony. Complementary toiletries and a small fridge were available, as was an easy to use safe, adequate wardrobe space and a hairdryer. Wifi was strong and consistent and the tv had several free channels. There were also plenty of plugs for charging gadgets etc. Housekeeping kept the room spruced up every day. Breakfast was served between 8am - 10am and was plentiful and fresh and you can eat onside or outside in a shaded courtyard. The whole area was clean and tidy. The tram stopped right outside the hotel every 15 minutes from 7am until midnight. This was really convenient for exploring the area and also offered some great photo opportunities. A game changer for is was the hotel’s suggestion of a car pick-up from and back to the airport. That made it easier for is to get to the hotel without getting lost. Our driver was very friendly and comes highly recommended. I have no hesitation in giving this hotel 5 stars and would happily return."

"Easily walkable to the busier areas of central Lisbon, but quiet in the evenings. Nice breakfast in a lovely walled patio area. Staff is personable and helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Cozy lounge for an evening glass of wine."
