Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisbon

"This is a lovely property with amazing Ocean views from a distance on the hill. People should be aware that this property is on a small golf course and not on the beach. The sunsets and views of Lisbon are wonderful if you have Ocean front. Property is well equipped and the staff is wonderful and very helpful. Pools are beautiful as are the steam and sauna facilities. Only one restaurant and the food was decent. Be aware that you are on the other side of a very busy bridge in Lisbon. If you need to get to the airport early you MUST leave by 6 am, because if you leave after 7 am you are not going to make your flight and can be in traffic trying to get over that bridge for hours when the airport is only 9 miles away. We made this mistake and missed our flight because no one told us! You are in a very quiet part of Lisbon and NOT in the main drag of things, and getting over the bridge to the city is easy between 11 am and 3 pm, then after 7 pm, so plan your time accordingly since no one will tell you this."

"I was here as part of a party of 6 on a golf break. I must say the hotel is an absolute delight!! Check-in and reception was friendly and helpful and quick. The room I had was fabulous - clean, spacious, well-equipped and a lovely bathroom. We had breakfast on-site every day and there was masses of choice - all of it very tasty. Didn't eat in the restaurant but we did have food from the pool bar which was very nice indeed. Also had a few drinks by the pool and one night in the hotel bar. The staff here are very pleasant and this helps to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It's located a couple of miles from the Capa Rica beach area which is vibrant, although journesy into the City can be lengthy because of delays getting onto the bridge across the Tagus. I would definitely stay here again and all 6 of us were in agreement that it exceeded our expectations."

"Great hotel in general. Very cordial service. Located about 20 minutes from Lisbon and 5 minutes from the beach and the town of Caparica (by car). Excellent facilities. Fairly well-stocked breakfast buffet. Pool with enough space for lounge chairs and a pool for small children to one side. The gym is quite good, as is the spa. Only one detail was not to my liking: a lot of noise in the indoor pool in the spa area. Being a wellness space where silence and tranquility should reign, there should not be children screaming and playing there; for that, there are the outdoor pools, and besides, the little ones have extra activities where they can have fun. Each space should be for its own purpose. Except for that detail, everything else was great. We will return without a doubt. The beach is 5 minutes away by car. The hotel has a shuttle for guests to the beach and back to the hotel. It must be reserved by the hour. The town of Caparica is also just under 5 minutes away by car. There are recommended places to eat in town. You can only reach the hotel by car. It is about 20 minutes or so from Lisbon."
