"Excellent place to stay! Super clean, friendly and most helpful staff, sincere and genuine, excellent customer service. Amazing location. They are very thoughtful there, we got some nice treats like delicious little chocolate cakes on our first day after coming back to the room from sightseeing. They also gave us a lovely soap on the day bfe we left to say thank you for our stay with them, little details that I thought was thoughtful and welcoming, the thought and consideration are what really counts. The bed and pillows were confortable and the linen spotless! Just like mine ones at home, (how I sleep is MOST important). So YES , I do reccomend it! If going back to Lisbon, that's where we are staying again!"

"Top marks for this boutique hotel located in the southern neighbourhood of Alfama. Not my favourite area but we chose it for relatively easy access to Santa Apolónia station. The staff were more welcoming, professional & quick witted than 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at in Lisbon. Rooms were well laid out, appointed and maintained. TV had Al Jazeera and NHK, thumbs up. Very quiet even with a room on the frontage. Breakfast was very good with home made jams. My only (tiny) gripe was the staff take away your plates too readily, has some thought for the dishwasher. Would recommend without hesitation."

"we loved our stay at the almalusa alfama, it’s a small hotel which was very comfortable to us. great area, the room was lovely!! beds super comfortable and spacious. we got a room with sea view which was amazing, we really appreciated it! everything was clean and all staff were super friendly. would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!"
