Acta Moa

"I stayed at Acta Moa for 7 nights while visiting Lisbon. I had a great experience at this hotel. Check-in was excellent, the staff was kind and even gave me an early check-in at no extra cost which I was beyond grateful for. My room was on the 15th floor and it had a beautiful view of the neighbourhood. The room was clean and spacious with many great amenities: a large fridge, a kettle, a large closet, TV with many channels, rainfall shower head.... Housekeeping came everyday to freshen up the room. This hotel also has an outdoor pool on the fifth floor. It gets busy on the weekends but during the weekdays there is plenty of room. There is also a gym, a lounge and a restaurant in the hotel, all of which are very well taken care of. Breakfast is available for 15 euros if you have not purchased it in your package ahead of time. I did this one morning and I thought the selection was great: lots of pastries, eggs, sausages, fruit, vegetables, coffee, tea... However, there are also many bakeries and grocery stores near the hotel should you wish to purchase your breakfast outside. Location wise, I thought Acta Moa was in a great spot. It is a 7 minute walk to the metro station and a 5 minute walk to the train station, both of which I used every day. The neighbourhood is quiet as it is about 15-20 minutes outside of the city center. Important to note that if you are not looking to use public transit and/or wishing to be close to the city, this may not be the best stay for you. Check-out was also smooth and the hotel has lockers available should you wish to leave your bags if you have a flight later in the day. Overall, great stay, would highly recommend!"

"Very average hotel. Had a lovely little pool/sun area but room was long and thin. The location was ok tho a walk into the centre. We took a cab to get into town. Has an area to play pool & chill with a bar but it isn't open late."
