"have to mention staff in all aspects of the running of the Dom Pedro Portobello really caring polite and attentive ,rooms are spacious and clean with a good sized modern bathroom ,had the pleasure of dining in resident restaurant menu was excellent all tastes were catered for and very well at that, staff again were excellent led by Anil a lovely informative host who kept our wine topped up all the time god bless him,absolutely no problem recommending this hotel, staff working miracles with what they have , thank you all for a lovely restful holiday "

"The hotel is certainly not 4 star, very disappointed in the room and the state of the curtains and furnishings all had seen better days. Towels do thin you could almost see through them. Only for the staff we would have packed up and left earlier,Anill in the bar was top class, the Nepalese ladies at Breakfast were a delight and couldn’t do enough to help. The Portuguese cleaning lady did a super job and was always smiling, Never seen a manager in six days and front desk staff spent their time hiding in the back office."
