"Stayed for 4 nights for a wedding end of September. The location is ok if you want to be near the marina. Apartment was nice and clean - went to reception to ask for hand soap only to be told they don’t supply that - feels like a basic requirement, never brought a bottle of hand wash with me before.. Also had the smell of sewage in the room a few times. Having to pay €2 a bed for a half day by the pool is fairly shocking for a hotel - understand if they are just visiting for the day, but for paying hotel guests, an extra charge of any amount is madness. Wouldn’t recommend or return to the old village."

"Just returned home from a weeks stay with my husband. The grounds of the old village are absolutely beautiful well cared for and very picturesque. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor on village street. The apartment itself was self contained and had enough for what we needed for the week. Although the bed was tiny and as was the bathroom. We were Not happy that the apartment wasn’t cleaned once in our whole weeks stay. No change of bed linen was provided and we had to ask for a change of towels to be told we’d gone a day early and we wasn’t due until the next day and that we wouldn’t get any more. I’ve never been away without the apartment / room having not been cleaned and a fresh bed made at least once during the stay so really wasn’t happy with this The pool are you do have to pay for the sunbeds which are €2 for half a day so €8 a day for a couple. It can work out quite expensive for families. Whilst I’ve also never paid for a sunbed in the complex before I was ok with paying, what I wasn’t ok with was that they don’t seem to have a proper system. People could see the guy coming in and would get off the bed and go into the pool and get away with not paying, which we witnessed multiple times. They would also pay for half the day but then be there all day. The sunbeds are also bolted to the floor so you can’t budge them even the slightest bit. The are alot of tiles also missing in the shallow end of the pool where the children play. It’s around a 30min walk down to the marina which is a pleasant walk down if you don’t have any mobility issues. We always got a taxi back easily which was €5. We did have a lovely week but we wouldn’t go back to these apartments or recommend sadly."

"Have stayed here many times over the years but sadly it has gone downhill, and we would not stay again. Signs of poor maintenance are everywhere. Broken steps on stairs are common along with many missing tiles in the pools. What appears to be green algae around the edges of the pools. 2 of the major restaurants are permanently closed leaving few options to eat on site. It can be hard to find somewhere to eat on a Saturday if a wedding is being held as the other main bar is closed."
