The Jardim Do Vau offers a great line-up of family facilities along with a brilliant location. It’s right on a golden sandy beach, a short walk from the nearest shops, bars and restaurants, and less than a 10-minute drive from Praia de Rocha’s bubbly resort centre.
Palm trees and lawns give way to a curvy swimming pool overlooking the sea. There’s also a paddling variety for little ones. The surrounding area is freckled with cheerful-looking blue and yellow striped parasols, and there’s a neighbouring bar where you can grab snacks and cold drinks. Elsewhere, you’ve got a swish spa for relaxing treatments, an air-conditioned fitness centre, and a kids’ club that’ll keep smaller guests entertained throughout the day.
The O Jardim restaurant offers an international menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and there are light bites available outside of mealtimes. Rounding things off is a cocktail bar for night-time tipples.
Apartments are nicely done, with whitewashed walls and cool tiled floors mixed with rainbow-hued artwork and soft furnishings. You’ve got all the essentials for self-catering here, like cooking rings, a fridge-freezer and a microwave. Balconies come as standard, too.
