"Convenient location to a stunning beach.Everything is within walking distance. The room was okay but infested with insects and very dirty. The lazy cleaners did not clean which resulted being covered in insect bites. Despite speaking to the front of house clerk who was very apologetic and nothing changed. Was glad to leave on the fourth night. Such a shame as it was a lovely hotel and convenient for the beach. Would love to go back but it is very unhygienic."

"This was my third stay at the Casablanca Hotel, last visit was about ten years ago - too long! I can honestly say it was as great as ever! I remembered it as a small and friendly place and this hasn’t changed. We were greeted by Carina on arrival and she’s a lovely welcoming person. All the staff are very helpful. Although it’s not super fancy, our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed - very glad of the fridge and air con! The buffet breakfast is very good, plenty of choice and regularly topped up. Although the pool area is small, we didn’t have issues getting a lounger. The pool was clean and maintained every day. There’s a snack bar available if you get peckish later! Monte Gordo isn’t a big resort, which is what we love about it. The beach is super and is just a few minutes’ walk away from the hotel. There’s an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants nearby too. If you have (or are with someone who has) limited mobility, Monte Gordo is ideal as it’s mostly flat (other resorts can be quite hilly) and shops, restaurants etc are close by. All in all we’re very sad to be leaving Unique Hotel Casablanca, Monte Gordo and hope to return very soon."
