"A beautiful, quiet, luxurious hotel. We're were very fortunate to have a room facing east over the river Guadiana and experienced some magnificent sunrises. Breakfasts were sumptuous and relaxed though a bit chaotic at weekends. We didn't make the most of the Beach Club which was a mistake as it was an idyllic spot for sunshine, a dip in the pool and very good lunches. A pity there isn't a shuttle available from the hotel as without transport we had to rely on taxis. We would go again."

"A truly , wonderful , beautiful hotel in the old tradition. Steeped in history and as classy as you can imagine . The River View suite is sheer delight. The best stay in a beautiful location. The Grand Beach Club whilst a walk away (we walked it every morning and got a Uber return €5) is a wonderful addition with priority for hotel residents . Lunch , excellent , service & food first class."
