A charming Lagos retreat
Set in Lagos, Villas D. Dinis puts you close to some of the Algarve’s most beautiful coastline. Praia Dona Ana is around a five-minute walk away, while the historic centre of Lagos is about 20 minutes on foot. Ponta da Piedade, beach-hopping and boat trips all sit very nicely on the agenda.
Back at the property, the feel is traditional, intimate and full of character. Think villa-style spaces, private terraces, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a refreshing swimming pool and helpful staff on hand with local recommendations. It’s a lovely choice if you want Algarve scenery with a quieter, more tucked-away base.
There isn’t a big resort dining scene, but Lagos more than makes up for it. Nearby restaurants serve Mediterranean dishes, seafood, tapas, Portuguese classics and wine-bar suppers, with plenty within a short stroll. Clifftop beaches by day, old-town dinners by night – this is Lagos doing its prettiest work.
