"We booked Solar de Mós Hotel expecting the clean, modern, renovated rooms shown in their listings. Instead, we were given a tiny, old, dirty wet bathroom, with hair on the floor, a stain on the bed sheet, chipped furniture, and a foul smell throughout the room. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, the bed was like a rock, and there was even an unsuitable naked painting on the wall. Nothing resembled the photos we booked from. When we complained, the manager rushed in and admitted we had been let into the room too early and promised that if we contacted Agoda, we would receive a full refund. We left immediately because the conditions were uninhabitable. Now that we’ve gone through Agoda, the hotel is refusing to honor their word. So not only is this property misleading and unhygienic, but the management is also dishonest. They told us one thing to our face and did the opposite once we left. Do not trust this hotel. The listings are deceptive, the rooms are unacceptable, and the staff do not stand by their promises. There are plenty of better options in Lagos — avoid this place at all costs."
