Lagos Avenida Hotel

"We stayed 3 nights and loved the hotel. Highlight Vivian at the reception who was very attentive and helped with everything that was necessary. The location is excellent, next to the Marina and close to some beaches, the restaurant is also excellent. I recommend."

"We stayed recently at the Lagos Avenida Hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is located across the street from the Marina, with great views of the boats passing by. It is also a 5 min walk from the Lagos train station. Check-in was easy and efficient. The ladies spoke Portuguese and English. Our room had a view of the Marina, with a balcony that sits 2 comfortably. The room was good sized, and the bed comfortable. We had a U-shaped room which was a first for us. It was annoying at first, as the shower and toilet are around the corner from the kitchen sink. Though frankly we got used to it and was a minor inconvenience for us. The breakfast was fantastic, and offered a variety of european breakfast options. You also had the option to order eggs, pancakes, omelettes, and other items. A variety of coffee options were also available. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We did have dinner at the Avenida restaurant one night, and that was superb. Reservations are highly recommended. And finally the Pool area... located on the rooftop, it was really a pleasure. The lounge chairs are nice with small tables, and the pool is heated and overlooks the marina. There is a rooftop bar that served great drinks at affordable prices. Service was A+. And they have live music every Wednesday night which was appreciated. Lagos Avenida was so central to everything we did in Lagos. Many restaurants were close, as were the beaches. Uber was always available within 5 minutes, and took us to our activities that were not walkable. We will definitely be back!"

"We saw the terrace from where we were eating and asked to go up to the front desk to have a drink. The views and the service were very good. We had some drinks on some sofas looking at the sea. It is one of those rooftop bars where they really make you feel privileged."
