"First day, trip not even begun. Sonia and staff, outstanding. What a great hotel"

"This is our second time at this hotel and it did not disappoint. However, it’s a 4 ⭐️ this time due to having an upgrade to our chosen room (I’ll explain) We had stayed in the main building the first time and we LOVED IT! Room was small but clean and cosy. This time we booked exactly the same however we got a free upgrade sale and were bumped to a suite. The suites are independent from the main building and have a direct access to the pool (which is pretty fancy) and the rooms are significantly bigger. NOW… The suite has floor to ceiling windows which have only got the curtains to keep the light out and they don’t cover all the way (which for me was bad because I need pitch black to sleep well). The suite bathroom features a smaller bathroom with a tiny shower box that we weren’t able to close the door all the way and the shower kit itself is not very well positioned. (This was one person in the shower and not two) And lastly the rooms being so close to the pool & main road, the noise is a much bigger factor than it was when you stay in the main building. ———— It is still a VERY nice hotel that we will come back to every time we land in FAO since it’s only à 30 min drive and inexpensive. I will however stick to my lovely double room in the main building!"

"After spending a night in a room that does not look far in the photos, once checked out, it does not stop. If you call me, me working without being able to answer, they send me an email threatening to call the police and report me for theft because according to them, they lack bedding report drinks in the minibar if I do not show up before 12:00 am on the day of departure. Wasting my time and stalling a meeting, I forgive myself at the hotel asking for explanations and urging you to call the police, search my vehicle and make sure that nothing they say is true, warning them that now I would be the one to file the complaint with the police. In the face of their refusal to call the police, I urge them to charge me for what they say I have stolen, but I do, taking over all the allegedly stolen products for me to file a lawsuit against them. Reception speaks with direction and they determine that if I say that I have not taken anything, that they trust me, but the waste of time, paralyze my work and the bad time have already given me Old hotel and rooms nothing to do with photographs, dismal and sparse breakfast, towels, only handheld there were no other, dirty, very unprofessional staff. I have never put a review in any hotel because I think these can be subjective, but what has happened to me in the URBAN Hotel chain and especially in URBAN Hotel Santa Eulalia in Albufeira is from TRACA!!!"
