"Stayed here for 4 night on a stag so obviously drink involved but the key has the name of the hotel and your room door number so clearly if lost you no exactly where to go I left this at reception as much as possible but my room was robbed passport bank cards clothes money powerbanks earbuds aftershave basically anything of value ..also think I was sleeping in the room while this happened as I have videos of the hour before and me in my room before realizing this happened when I woke up ..also no one explained to me that I would need to go to the embassy So after one day I went to the police even they never told me to go to the embassy... Had to then go stay in a different hotel ... sort your keys and door locks out and get cameras ."

"We have just come back from staying at this “hotel” and i wouldn’t stay there again if it was free. From the moment we walked in we had issues that were laughed at by reception staff such as dirty socks left over smoke detectors in the room, a room booked for 4 adults contained two actual beds and two couches that were supposedly beds in the dining area. As it was so cheap we couldn’t complain too much at the awful beds we were given but when asked why there was a dirty sock on the ceiling we were laughed at and it took them two days to remove it, not only is this unhygienic but also a safety hazard. Also, no A/C which is great ! The older guy on reception is a nasty piece of work to deal with and helps with absolutely nothing. This was visible to us when we went back down to reception and told them both of our rooms (809 and 612) windows were able to open from the outside of the room, obviously not just a malfunction as both rooms were exactly the same. As a young girl staying in the room next to the window I explained how this was unacceptable and was not safe for us, the older man on reception then argued with us for 10 minutes about how it wasn’t an issue and no one would be trying to open windows, after we raised the point of he couldn’t guarantee that 100% he then got in the lift up to the room where he told one of my friends that he talks too much and this was a waste of his time. He then came up to the room and tried to lock it which he failed at and pulled some rusty shutters down which he then broke and then blamed us. The person staying next door was woken up by all of the banging he was doing to the shutters and came out very aggressive and swearing telling us to be quiet (understandable as it was late) but then as he came out to shout at us the man from reception left instead of explaining what had happened, the next morning he had blamed the shutters on us and said we were the ones being loud as told by the english woman on reception who is the only person who did anything to actually help us, so if you do decide to stay and have an issue don’t bother speaking to anyone but her. So the last 3 days we sat in darkness and an uncomfortable heat as we had no sunlight through the window and no way to open the window. To finish this place is terrible and I would urge anyone looking to stay in albufeira to fork out a bit more and stay somewhere else."

"We arrive and told we have to pay a €50 deposit and a €10 tourist tax. Totally fine. Best part of the hotel as we had read it was a €100 deposit. 2 couples in 1 room not accommodated to with 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed. We discovered a dirty white sock over the smoke alarm which we made an issue off about an hour after check in. This didn’t get removed until day 3. Plug sockets were hanging off walls, apartment furniture very tacky and falling to pieces, absolutely 0 air conditioning and was denied a fan, which they had plenty of stashed in a room downstairs. Our window was able to be opened from the outside, and we weren’t the only people with this issue. When challenged by this, the grumpy miserable old man at reception was very aggressive and rude and overall this issue was not resolved, he simply pulled down some rusty shutters, broke them, and blamed it on myself. Pool decent, not awfully priced food & drinks. Lots of staff incredibly rude with the exclusion of 1 british woman who we believe is the hotel owner. I would avoid this hotel like the plague as I wouldn’t even put homeless people up in here !"
