Paladim Alagoamar Hotel

"Nice hotel but as others have said its a little dated. But to be honest for the money you'd probably struggle to find anything better. Staff very helpful restaurant serving great food and drink at same rates as local bars."

"The Paladim is a bit of a puzzler. It's a nice hotel. Rooms are spacious. Balconies spacious. Clean. However i feel the room furnishings could do with a serious upgrade. They are very 80s. Beds are not comfortable and very basic. The entertainment and bar area are excellent. Staff very nice. Pool areas also excellent. It's nearly but not quite. All on all update of room, rest is excellent."

"Spent 6 days here recently with family. The hotel is clean, the apartment spacious. However this feels more like a basic 3* than a 4*. Our apartment was in need of some TLC, particularly the bathroom which seemed to have a leak leaving the floor permanently wet. Plenty of hot water. The beds were pretty hard and therefore uncomfortable after night 3. Some basic toiletries are provided, but no washing up equipment. There is a huge supermarket in the building next door which has everything you could need, but it’s frustrating having to buy a big bottle of washing up liquid for a short stay. The pool areas are spotlessly clean, and there was no fighting for sunbeds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located between the old town and the strip, both are a 15-20min walk away. If you don’t like walking and would prefer to be closer to one or the other, this isn’t the hotel for you. Although Ubers are very cheap. There are also several restaurants close by. We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant a few times, good menu and hot and tasty food. Overall a good stay, but don’t expect 4* luxury."
