Mirachoro Albufeira

"Stayed at Mirachoro for 10 nights,rooms were spacious and clean,everything you needed in cutlery,pots and pans etc but kitchen area was tiny,no work surface space,room supplied with a kettle toaster and microwave..with only one plug socket in kitchen and one in lounge area..bring a plug extension lead,2 sofa beds in lounge area,dining table and chairs , tv,a few english channels,nice balcony with table and chairs,bathroom very dated but i believe they are being renovated floor by floor..Now the bed..rock hard,like sleeping on a park bench for us,everyone has their own preference,asked for a mattress topper,got one eventually but didnt make much difference. Pool area was beautiful,looked very new and modern,lots of sun beds and comfy sofa,s and chairs nearby,weather was absolutely amazing,even the locals said it was hot.Drinks were ok if a little expensive as was the snack bar,we had a full english the 1st morning,it was ok apart from sausages,they were hotdogs..€14 each,found some nice places to eat out..erins isle was great,served lovely food but drinks were expensive,albufeira strip was huge,lots of bars and restaurants..old town was lovely,beach amazing,wasnt too struck on new town..we did have a lovely holiday but wouldnt stay here again, much too hilly for us but all in all we had a great time"

"Great hotel situated in a quiet area. Comfortable apartment with 2 sofa beds. Newly refurbished bathroom with lots of hot water. Comfortable beds in bedroom. Kitchen adequately equipped for cooking. Very friendly, professional staff on reception. Antonio the security guard at night was very friendly also. We go here every year, highly recommend."

"This hotel was a little quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to visit the main strip (walking around ten mins) The rooms were basic, but had comfy beds, were very clean and provided everything we needed. Snack bar was always open for food and drinks and we had a couple of days around the pool which was lovely, clean and well maintained (always sunbed availability!) Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. For check in, we arrived early but still had a place for our luggage and had access to get changed etc. The check in process included all the info we needed for our stay. We were well looked after by marcos- to be honest I think the other reviews about him aren’t a true reflection of his character. He is very straight to the point, but also caring, considerate and willing to help with anything we needed. He took good care of my brothers when they celebrated their birthdays, and he made our stay special and memorable- thank you Marcos."
