Charming hotel that's ideal for families
Boasting a wide selection of facilities and impeccable service, the Marriott Residences Salgados Resort is perfect for families and groups alike. Start your day at one of the 10 pools, some of of which are specifically for set aside for little ones to enjoy when they're not at the playground. All of the swimming spots are set in leafy gardens and edged by a team of sun loungers, where you can enjoy the warm sun while working on your tan.
Alternatively, spend a day at the beach – the hotel runs a free shuttle that'll whisk you there in less than five minutes. Or, if you're working on your step count, you can walk to the sands of Praia da Galé within 20 minutes. Golfers will be in their element here, too – parts of the hotel overlook the 18-hole Salgados golf course, which is within a five-minute wander.
Evenings are best enjoyed at one of the on-site restaurants for a meal together before wrapping the day up with a quiet drink on your room’s balcony in the balmy night.
