Scandic Vulkan is centrally located in Vulkan, by the River Akerselva, close to Grunerlokka. Inside, there’s an eclectic mix of décor, from velvet armchairs to colourful cow sculptures.
Although you’ve got a fabulous food hall, Mathallen, to peruse next door, the hotel has its own Italian restaurant with an open kitchen. If you want to work out, there’s a modern gym for strength and cardio training. You can also borrow bikes from reception and discover the Grunerlokka, a trendy neighbourhood close to the hotel.
