"What began as a last-minute booking, following a change of plans with a previous hotel, turned out to be a surprisingly comfortable stay. Ramada by Wyndham, Amsterdam, is a decent hotel offering all the essentials for a short visit. The room was clean and well-equipped with a coffee machine and other amenities. The bed was comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was a welcome relief on a cold night. I was particularly impressed by the property’s emphasis on sustainability. As a frequent traveler, I’ve become more conscious of environmental impact and appreciate every effort made to preserve our planet. I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk offered the option to skip housekeeping for the next day, which I gladly accepted and was rewarded with a drink voucher for the restaurant. Throughout the room, there were subtle yet effective reminders encouraging guests to contribute to environmental preservation. Notes suggesting ways to save water or reuse bed linens reflected the hotel’s genuine commitment to reducing its carbon footprint. While the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the self-service kiosk in the lobby ensures that snacks and coffee are available around the clock a thoughtful touch for travelers arriving late or leaving early. The complimentary shuttle service from Schiphol Airport to the hotel is another big plus, adding to the overall convenience. The hotel does not have a gym but for gym rats the hotel has two complimentary passes available to the Basic-Fit gym next door. A comfortable stay with a conscience. I’d certainly consider returning on my next trip to Amsterdam."
