"My stay at this hotel was very disappointing and did not meet expectations.
We booked a suite with a balcony. While the room itself was generally acceptable, the balcony was not properly cleaned. There was a used glass with stagnant water and an ashtray full of cigarette butts left from previous guests. This immediately created a poor first impression. Even the coffee facilities in the room were very basic and did not reflect what was expected from a suite.
From the moment we arrived, the reception experience was cold and unwelcoming. The attitude felt unprofessional, and we were not made to feel comfortable or valued as guests, despite booking a more expensive room category.
Throughout our stay, basic information was not properly provided. We had to approach the reception several times just to receive simple directions to our room. Overall, the service felt unhelpful and indifferent.
On one occasion, when asking where to buy a bottle of water, the response from reception was dismissive, suggesting we should drink tap water. Only after insisting were we told about a vending machine located elsewhere in the hotel. This contributed to an uncomfortable overall experience.
Breakfast was also below expectations, with limited selection, inconsistent availability, and poor quality. It felt poorly managed and not aligned with the standard expected from the hotel.
One additional issue was the refusal to add an additional guest name to the receipt. I was informed that this was not possible due to hotel policy. However, I was unable to find any reference to such a policy in the publicly available terms and conditions.
Overall, although the room itself had potential, the service, atmosphere, and overall treatment significantly affected the stay. The experience felt cold, unwelcoming, and far below expectations for a hotel of this category.
I would not recommend this hotel based on my personal experience."
