Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

"We booked a room for three nights and arrived at the hotel at around 11pm, as our flight landed late that evening. When we reached the hotel, we were informed that there were no rooms available, despite having a confirmed reservation. The staff member on duty, Omer, was not particularly helpful in dealing with the situation. He advised us to stay at the nearby Holiday Inn Express for one night and then return to Hampton the following day for the remaining two nights of our stay. As this issue was caused by the hotel, we feel they should have made suitable arrangements for our transfer, especially given the late hour. At the very least, they could have arranged and paid for a taxi to the alternative hotel. Instead, we were simply told to walk there, as it was supposedly only an 8-9 minute walk away. We were extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled. The lack of support and consideration caused significant inconvenience after a long journey, and the level of customer service we received fell well below our expectations."

"My husband and I recently celebrated our ten year wedding anniversary with a trip to Amsterdam! While checking us in, Laura who was working the front desk asked us the reason for our stay to which we told her it was our anniversary trip. Then a few minutes after getting settled into our room she came to surprise us with a bottle of sparkling wine, a lovely note, and some extra stroopwafels (cause she knows those are my favourite) to congratulate us!! It was so sweet and so thoughtful of her to do that for us! She truly made our stay so memorable and amazing. Huge shoutout to Laura!!"

"1. Started off by giving us a room where somebody already was in the room sleeping. 2. Then gave us a room beside the gym where you could hear people often going in and out and running on the treadmill and was even woken up early in the morning by someone using the yoga ball to throw on the wall. 3. The noise from outside cars was quite loud. Isolation was not great. 4. Breakfast and cleaning personell was nice 5. Location wise it was nice to be near the train station 6. Toiletries like toothpaste toothbrush comb or slippes were not included 7. Schampoo dispenser in the shower was broken and it was dripping Schampoo on the whole shower floor"
