Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

"The rooms are fine. I did not check out the amenities, so I cannot speak to that. The staff was fairly friendly, but not helpful. We had booked king rooms and were told ton check in that all that was available are double twin-bed rooms. Not great, but deal with it, right? Then they tried to tell us that we had 4 rooms multiple times, when our reso (with email confirmation) clearly stated 3. The final thing I'll mention is the fact I ordered ron service at 14:15. At 16:00 i started looking for cancelation options. I could not find anywhere to cancel so I had to go to the front desk, which redirected me to the bistro. After another 10 minutes I had finally canceled my initial order, and was told the tip and service charge would be refunded in a different transaction having to do with the front desk. I would highly recommend finding different accommodations. Seemed clean, and might have great features I, however, was not able to find any."

"We had a very enjoyable stay at the Residence Inn and also really appreciated the facilities at Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The combination works very well, with great facilities including the beautiful swimming pool, restaurant and even the cinema. It makes the whole experience feel like much more than just an airport hotel stay. What really made the difference, however, was the service. Yehia stood out in particular. He was extremely professional, friendly, welcoming and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. His warm hospitality and positive attitude are exactly what you hope to receive in a good hotel, and he is a real asset to the team. The facilities are great, but it is people like Yehia who make guests remember their stay. Thank you, Yehia, for the outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be happy to return!"

"I have had to wait for sometime to cool down enough to write this. All around one of the worst hotels I have ever had. The staff was hopeless. It was a huge bother to wait on a guest. We got to the hotel at 1:30. I know this is early for check in. We had booked three king rooms. They had none ready, no problem for us. We had one single traveler so we checked into one room dropped our bags and were told to come back after 3:30 to check into the King rooms. We left the hotel and as there’s absolutely nothing to do in the vicinity of the hotel we went into Amsterdam city center. $79 uber fare! when we came back after taking a lovely canal boat ride, we got to the hotel about 6:30. When we again checked in, nothing was said about our reservation, we went up to our rooms. They had twin beds. This was a very special trip for us. Our kids were celebrating a second honeymoon. The rooms feel a lot like college dorm rooms extremely un impressive . I wouldn’t stay here again under any circumstances. When we talked to staff about the twin beds they just brushed off our concerns. They indicated so that there was nothing they could do about it and were very cavalier . They said maybe tomorrow we will have a king rooms. When we tried to get ice as per the instructions in our room to call the front desk, we were transferred twice and then dropped into never Neverland. It appears they have never had ice requested before, even though the sign by the ice bucket says to call the front desk for ice. It is very hard for me to not let this absolute incompetent and uncaring staff and woeful service ruin my vacation."
