Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

"Awful stay, I had requested a king room and received a twin. When I rang down they said there is nothing they could do until the next day. The attitude from the staff was appalling too, another guest at the reception explained they called ahead for vegetarian meal to be kept aside when they landed and the receptionist basically told them tough luck there’s no vegetarian meals available and they’ll have to do with the meat selections. Me and the guest accompanying me was having difficulty understanding why we paid €179 two days prior to booking and having to additionally pay €100 deposit when we arrived and also the total of the booking (still waiting on my deposit that was promised back to me - it’s been a week). There is a rooftop bar that you have to pay €40 admission to whether you’re staying or not (this didn’t include drinks or food to my knowledge). "I’m sitting in this hotel right now and I’m starving. The only options for food are snacks at the coffee bar as even though I’m staying in the hotel there is no availability at the restaurant as it is this bizarre all you can eat kind of thing? This is the strangest airport hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Unless I want hummus or chicken wings from the snack bar for dinner I’ll have to order Uber or walk to McDonalds. Further you have to pay for the airport shuttle… this hotel doesn’t understand the purpose of an airport hotel. Do not stay here unless you’re on Ozempic. YOU NEED A NORMAL RESTAURANT"

"Stayed at Corendon and honestly, the reception deserves its own 5-star review 😄 Big shoutout to Yehia — the man could probably welcome people professionally in his sleep. From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with such warm energy that it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like arriving at a friend’s place… just with better lobby lighting and luggage carts. Super professional, incredibly helpful, always smiling, and somehow able to solve everything calmly and quickly. If hospitality was an Olympic sport, Yehia would definitely be bringing home gold 🥇 Corendon is lucky to have him — he made the whole stay feel easy, fun, and genuinely welcoming.
