City break base with great transport links
You’ll find the XO Hotels Couture in Amsterdam-West, just a five-minute walk from the World Fashion Centre – the hotel’s name kinda makes sense now, right? Inside, the hotel’s as chic as you might expect. The lobby area is modern and stylish, with quirky lighting fixtures and a popular café-bar. Just so you know, no alcohol is served at this bar. There’s a bright and spacious breakfast room, too, which is where the Continental morning buffet is served.
If you find yourself in Amsterdam in the name of sightseeing, this hotel is a good place to start. Trams stop right outside, and can whisk you off to the museum district within 15-minutes – perfect if you fancy checking out the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum. The leafy-green Vondelpark is also within a 15-minute walk, although we recommend exploring the beautiful park like a local – on two wheels! You can hire a bike from the hotel.
Once you’ve returned to the hotel for the evening, head up to your room. The décor strikes the balance between style and substance, which means the rooms are both comfortable and easy on the eye.
