The Hub is the tower’s main meeting point for all its residents, including hotel guests. The hotel’s Butcher Social Club restaurant serves up brilliant burgers and classic cocktails in relaxed surroundings. If you want to work up an appetite first, there’s a gym and even in-house personal trainers.

You’ll also have a pillow menu to choose from, 300-thread-count linens, and an oversized rain shower for maximum comfort. A television, wi-fi, and Illy espresso machine are included too.

Eye Filmmuseum
You can’t miss this unusual and striking building, which sits right next to A’DAM Tower, and is home to an archive of over 54,000 films – heaven for cinephiles. There are four cinemas, showing the latest movies, as well as classics and cult favourites. The gallery spaces include a historical journey through the technical developments of filmmaking, and an ever-changing calendar of exhibitions about directors, genres and the craft of bringing films to life.
A’DAM Lookout
Take the lift up to the A’DAM Tower’s rooftop for an unbeatable panoramic view of Amsterdam, where you can join an interactive exhibition and audio tour to learn more about the city’s past and present. For adrenaline junkies, there’s Over The Edge – Europe’s highest swing, which takes you out over a vertigo-inducing 100m drop. Once you’ve had your fill of thrills, stop by the Panorama restaurant for food and drink with a phenomenal view.
Public transport
Sir Adam is on the north bank of the IJ River, with the historic city centre on the opposite side. With no bridge between, you might think that’d make seeing the sites tricky – and it would, if not for Amsterdam’s excellent public transport system. A regular ferry service crosses the river every couple of minutes, and it’s completely free for pedestrians and cyclists. That means you can get across to Centraal Station in no more than ten minutes, then catch Metro, tram and bus services across the city. It’s also only a short walk to landmarks like Dam Square, Anne Frank’s House and the Red Light District.
