"Interesting experience. To enter the Hotel one must climb a flight of stairs - with luggage. Reception staff is pleasant and efficient. The room we had for two adults was less say “ tiny” Had to be very careful not to bang into a sharp corner. Bathroom again tiny. One hits the T P roll with one’s arm and shoulder when sitting. No washcloths. Minimal towels. Soap dispenser hard to use. No USB ports. Thank goodness we assumed these sort of inadequacies and came prepared. Extra Euro plugs with double USB cable ports, shampoo and conditioner etc. Now one issue. There is no ventilation fan in the already tiny toilet so —- may wish to defecate in a public facility in the reception area otherwise you will be lying in defecatory fumes …. Finally a very nice breakfast is included and there is a lovely Coffee Boutique with designer coffee drinks a genuine Dutch pastries. The reception can arrange taxi transfer to Schipol airport fora flat fee of about 30 Euros as well."

"Absolutely appalling experience from start to finish. We called the hotel a couple of weeks before our booking to try and amend it, and the operator we spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive. There was no willingness to help, no professionalism whatsoever, just attitude. A few days before our booking, we tried calling again to cancel since amending was apparently “impossible”. This time, no one even bothered to answer the phone. We called multiple times and were completely ignored. Then, on the actual day of the booking, they charged us a no-show fee, despite the fact that we had already paid upfront and had been trying to get in touch beforehand. As a result, we were refused any refund. An absolute joke of a hotel. Terrible customer service, zero communication, and completely unhelpful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs."

"The hotel was in an excellent location - great for museum and for wandering the nearby attractions. Close to the hard rock cafe (and loads of other) if that is your thing. 10 minute walk from metro station. Very convenient for foot exploration. The Good: great reception staff and nice rooms, all well-appointed and comfortable beds. Good daily rate too. There's a small 'fridge in the room and due to the very cold weather, a small portable heater; which we used. The Bad: room cleaning was not every day or towel changes (that's ok) - however, when we did request a room clean & a towel change; it took a second reminder at the reception to get it done, late in the day. The Ugly: no hot water one day (morning) - not the hotel's fault but an update either via WhatsApp / SMS / Note under the door would have been helpful. The price for breakfast (25 Euro pp) was too high and encouraged us to stock up on snacks and bread from the local shop."
