Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Leidse Square (Former The ED Amsterdam)

"This hotel is far too expensive for such a small room. The housekeeping staff were pleasant, but the reception staff were very unfriendly. To make matters worse, my room was extremely noisy. Every ambulance or police car that passed by either woke me up or made me jump. I won’t be staying here again. It’s far too expensive for such poor quality."

"There were a number of flight cancellations yesterday due to the storms so as i had stayed at this hotel for the past few days i thought it would be best to return to this hotel as we initially had good service . It was around 1am and the doors were locked and I rand the bell and the night duty person was already rude and abrupt saying they have no occupancy which eas not a problem so I asked him will it be possible to come in as I was a guest here on the same day just to charge phones and see if any other available hotels and he was even more rude and abrupt and said i can't help . What appaling service i will never return to the hotel again as a guest and might i add my initial booking was also part of a corporate account . You are in the hospitality industry I'm sure you can do basic customer service or just be human , very disappointed I have to add that it was pouring rain and I booked uber your boutique hotel down the road and even though the did not have occupancy the reception staff were very accommodating, maybe your night staff should go there for training... terrible"

"Called desk upon arrival and told to come to lobby if we wanted soap or shampoo. Only one person at the hotel. The bathroom fixtures in black were covered in months of dust. Room for two people had no walking space no closet no dressers. Only a rack with 4 hangars. There was one luggage rack and almost no space for a second piece of luggage and two people could not fit through area where bathroom door was located and had to back up to open the door. Only way to enter hotel with luggage was a steep set of stairs. Overpriced terrible hotel. Worst I ever stayed in. Pictures do not show the cramped space properly. Beware"
