What Hotel Van Gogh has to offer
Museum Quarter
Stay at the Park Centraal, and you’ll be right in the heart of the Museum Quarter. As the name suggests, you’ll find some of Amsterdam’s most impressive museums and galleries in this attractive part of town. The Rijksmuseum covers 800 years of history, with works by Dutch masters including Rembrandt, Vermeer and Van Gogh. For a deeper dive into Van Gogh, he has his own dedicated museum nearby. The area is also home to Vondelpark and the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall.
Vondelpark
Take a stroll around the largest public space in Amsterdam and enjoy the picturesque park’s ponds, gardens and sculptures. Maybe you fancy a ride on a paddle boat? Or why not catch a performance at the Open Air Theatre? Vondelpark is a lovely place to spend an afternoon – and it’s not even a five-minute walk from the hotel.
Bloemenmarkt
The world’s only floating flower market is a 20-minute walk from the hotel, or 10 minutes if you hop on the tram. Take a stroll around one of the city’s most colourful and fragrant places, where you can buy flowers, bulbs and seeds from the traders who sell their fresh produce every day from their houseboats.
