"If I had to do it again, I would gladly book at this hotel. Just top-notch. Mr. Flavio at the front desk allowed us to have an excellent stay with a just magnificent view from our room. Also, the smile and kindness of Ms. Arik were just wonderful; she made us feel at ease. The hotel is very, very well located to go to the central station, either by taking the boat to cross for free or the 34 bus to go to the Noord station and then taking the metro. Also very pleasant and very convenient, across from the hotel is a market to eat dinner or lunch with very, very affordable prices. Also, the cleanliness of the rooms is just top-notch. So I recommend it 1000%."

"Very large hotel, very crowded, lots of foot traffic. International guests. We arrived by car and parked in the underground garage. It is very tight there due to many pillars that are spaced quite closely. Maneuvering with a guide is sometimes required, but the entrance/exit is not very steep, so you can get in there easily even with a sports car. You don't get a card to enter; you have to ring the reception via a button at the entrance, then the gate is opened. However, the information on the internet is incorrect. We had also booked this hotel because of the stated low parking fees, but on-site it was 30 EUR per night after all. We had a double room with a 140cm bed and a shared duvet, which was perfectly sufficient for us. The beds were too soft for me, but everyone may feel differently about that. The room had air conditioning, which it had to, as the windows unfortunately could not be opened, which bothered me a bit, since I like to air out the room in the morning, which is not possible with air conditioning. Unfortunately, there was also no closet. We were here for 4 days, so you had to live out of a suitcase, which especially displeased my wife. We also missed having a refrigerator; perhaps we should have booked a different room category for that, no idea. The shower had such low water pressure that it decreased even further while showering, so that you were cold while showering and worried about not being able to get the soap off - that should be fixed. There were conflicting statements regarding room cleaning. The internet said daily, but at the hotel, it was then said from the 2nd night on. In fact, it was not cleaned until I was asked via WhatsApp if everything was okay. I then noted that we needed new towels. Shortly thereafter, a lady appeared who tidied up the room and exchanged the towels. The next day, she was not seen again. Upon inquiry, it was then said that one had to register this daily before 12 p.m. at the reception. We did not find out how it really works, as we were after the 4th. night departed. In the morning there was a normal breakfast buffet, nothing special but okay. The breakfast area has a cafeteria vibe, very crowded, very loud, staff seems overwhelmed. If you are looking for ambiance, you are in the wrong place; you only stay as long as necessary. The hotel's location is not in the best area; there is a supermarket directly across the street, which proved to be very practical. It is about a 15-minute walk to the free ferry to the city center, and the same distance again after docking. You can rent bicycles at the hotel, but we found them too expensive at 18.50 EUR per day. We ate at the hotel's own restaurant on the first evening due to a lack of alternatives in the immediate vicinity. It was okay with reasonable prices."

"We booked through a tour operator and for this reason were likely treated as second-class guests regarding room assignment. Class treated ....the hotel advertises a skyline view of Amsterdam. We had a room on the 12th. floor with a direct view (approx. 6 meters as the crow flies) of the neighboring building - the hallway of the rooms there. No talk of privacy; we had to keep the curtains closed day and night. Already upon arrival at 10:00 a.m., it was said that no other room was available - but they would 'look' (in our opinion, a room change would have been easily possible at that time)....when we checked into our room in the evening, it was then said that the tour operator does not allow an upgrade and therefore there is no room with a city view for us....an insolence! According to the receptionist, an upgrade would be possible via booking.com or by booking directly. After we contacted the tour operator about this, the hotel actually claimed that it had been a misunderstanding! In any case, we still did not get a room change. The morning after the first night, we requested cleaning of the room at the reception. The maid actually only appeared at 7:30 p.m.!!! Furthermore, in our view, the hotel is too far away for a city visit - especially in the evening, you no longer want to take the walk and the ferry to get into the city."
