"Why i rated this as 2 star plus, the room was very small, very dated, the only chair in the room was very dirty, bathroom was too small. The staff thou was very polite and friendly."

"My family of four have just spent 2 nights here the staff are rude and the room was nothing like the room we booked from the pictures on the website we booked with. The room was dirty with hair in the bed sheets, stained pillows, floors were filthy. Bathroom was awful the floor was falling through and there was no room to move in the bathroom. The pictures make the hotel rooms look bigger than they are and the hotel looks nothing like the images it’s so run down and smells of damp. You can book breakfast with your room but I would not recommend this if the standard of hotel god knows what the food would be like. The only good thing about this is location other than that I would not recommended anyone stay here"

"Our stay at this hotel in Amsterdam was one of the most unpleasant and unsanitary hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The photos on the website do not reflect reality at all. Everything looked completely different – both the room and the hotel itself were in terrible condition. Already in the hallways, we were met with trash, old furniture, and worn-out carpets – it felt more like a recycling station than a hotel. Our room was dirty, damaged, and generally unclean: - The walls were crumbling in several areas – not just missing paint, but the actual wall material was falling apart - The baseboards and light switches were broken, and one wall lamp was hanging loose, posing a serious safety risk - There were so many blood stains on the sheets and curtains - Stains on the floor and carpets, and hair everywhere – in the shower, on the walls, under the mattress - The toilet was filthy, the shower leaked water directly onto the bathroom floor, and the toilet brush was in disgusting condition with old poop on it. I wanted to throw up. When I raised these issues immediately after check-in, I was not allowed to check out or receive a refund, even though we hadn’t touched anything in the room. The receptionist was also extremely rude. The following day, I again asked for a refund for our second night – only to be met with the same dismissive and unfriendly attitude. We were offered another room – but when I went to inspect it, it was just as dirty, broken, and run-down as the first one. This clearly shows that the entire hotel maintains an extremely low standard. We chose to keep our belongings packed in closed suitcases on the bathroom floor out of fear of bedbugs. That alone says a lot about how bad the conditions were. We dit got silverfishes from the bathroom in our suitcases (attached one pic of it), that accually do not bother me so much since it is not dangerous and easy to get rid of if we got it home, but I am/was so afraid of bedbugs. It took us one day to get everything cleaned when we got home, we washed all our clothes in 60 degrees and put all the rest in our freezer for 7 days. Steamed the suitcase. So so so worried to got home bedbugs. This hotel is neither safe nor sanitary, and we feel completely deceived. The images presented online do not match reality whatsoever, which feels outright fraudulent. If I wasnt traveling with a kid, I would try to get this matter to the police - cause this was a fraud. Not to be dramaqueen, this is just not right to do to tourist, it is not okej to rip people of like this. How can they sleep at night. I strongly advise against booking this hotel – regardless of your budget. It was a deeply uncomfortable experience from start to finish."
