"Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht was the perfect place to stay if you are visiting for a couple of days and want to stay nearby the must-see places. It The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with great staff service in both room service and breakfast/dining. The breakfast and dinner had delicious options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. What made our short trip great was how close the hotel was within walking distance from the museums, canal cruises, and nearby Anne Frank museum. I would highly recommend staying at the Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht hotel."

"I loved the hotel. It is located in a charming area anew and easy walking distance to restaurants and museums. The staff were so helpful with directions, calling cabs and making reservations. Room was lovely and very clean. I agree sink is oddly situated in room but it was fine. The view of the canal was lovely. "We recently enjoyed a 4-day stay at the Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht in a Canal View room. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with just a few small areas that could be improved. Pre-Arrival & Check-in: Prior to our arrival, the front desk team reached out to inquire about any special requests. We asked for a quiet room and a feather-free setup. Upon arrival, check-in was fast and smooth. We were offered a welcoming drink, greeted by extremely friendly staff, and escorted to the elevator. Room & Comfort: The room was lovely with a beautiful view over the canal. Our pre-arrival requests for a quiet room and feather-free bedding were fully met. Even with the windows open at night, you only hear the pleasant background sounds of the city, making it overall very quiet and peaceful. Facilities & Wellness: Unfortunately, the sauna was out of order during our stay. However, the team was very helpful and tried their absolute best to get it back up and running. Breakfast & Dietary Needs: Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, though not particularly proactive. Gluten-free options are available, but they are limited and only provided upon explicit request. Because gluten-free bread is prepared on demand, there is a 20 to 30-minute wait each morning. Even on consecutive days, the staff did not prepare it in advance, so keep this in mind if you have dietary restrictions or are on a tight schedule. Bar & Service: The bar environment itself is lovely, and the complimentary daily gin tasting was a really fun touch. However, the mixology service was hit-or-miss. The signature cocktails are quite experimental (featuring ingredients like stroopwafel, peanut butter, and banana), while classic cocktails like a Whiskey Sour are well-made. When asking for tailored recommendations, the bartender was not very customer-centric—asking for a gin-based drink resulted in a rum Daiquiri, and asking for a sour drink brought a sweet, banana-forward cocktail. My recommendation: stick to the classic drinks! Summary: A beautiful hotel with attentive front desk staff and unmatched canal views. With a bit more proactivity around dietary options at breakfast and better-tailored bar service, it would easily be a 5-star experience. We would gladly stay again!"
