"We enjoyed our stay overall! The location is very convenient. There was a leak from the shower onto the bathroom floor so we called maintenance. Stefanos came, fixed it, and cleaned everything up. We were out most of the day so it was all done by the time we got back. Very efficient and hassle free, I recommend staying here if you want nice location and good people."

"Accommodation Requirements Communicated Before Booking Before our vacation was booked, we specifically requested walk-in showers at every hotel on our itinerary. This requirement was communicated to our travel agent in advance. Despite this request, we were assigned accommodations at the Amsterdam Marriott that did not meet our stated requirements. Air-Conditioning Failure and Multiple Room Changes Upon checking into the Amsterdam Marriott, we were assigned a room with nonfunctioning air conditioning. When we contacted the front desk, hotel personnel acknowledged that they were already aware the air conditioning had stopped working several hours before our arrival. Despite this knowledge, we had been assigned the room. After complaining, we were relocated to another room. Although the air conditioning worked, this room did not have the walk-in shower we had requested. We complained again and were moved to another room the following day. Rather than enjoying our time in Amsterdam, we were repeatedly inconvenienced by the need to address room problems and relocate our belongings. Unacceptable Cleanliness and Housekeeping The rooms we were assigned also had numerous cleanliness and housekeeping deficiencies, including: Visible stains on the circular area carpets. Bathrooms that had not been thoroughly cleaned. A coffee machine containing used coffee grounds left by a previous guest. Missing liners for the ice bucket. These conditions raised serious concerns about the hotel's housekeeping practices and whether the rooms had been adequately cleaned and prepared for incoming guests. Smoke Odors in a Hotel Represented as Nonsmoking We were informed that the Amsterdam Marriott was a nonsmoking hotel. Nevertheless, we encountered noticeable smoke odors in the hallways and lobby. My husband personally reported the smoke odors to the front desk. Unfortunately, the staff appeared unconcerned and did not provide a meaningful response. This was another disappointing aspect of our experience and inconsistent with the environment we expected. The stellar reviews regarding this hotel must be paid reviews! because this hotel is no better than a casino hotel"
