"This hotel is not worth the star rating it is given. Yes the hotel is lovely, modern, well kept, nice rooms, lovely pool asthetics but the food and entertainment is not good.
I've been on loads of Tui Holidays and lots of Tui blue holidays hence choosing to come here thinking this would be the same. I have never seen such a limited selection of drinks available. One beer, white, red or rose white, vodka, bacardi or rum is about all the alcohol you are getting. Water, coke, fanta and sprite for sofa drinks. You can of course have tea and coffee .. Bizarrely in your room, you have tea and coffee but no milk .. Check in is after 3pm and after being on a slight at 3am, it's a long time to wait for your room when you really just want to get in and sleep for an hour before exploring.
The food is very Limited, again never seen such a small selection of food, you get about 6-8 desserts and they all repeat. Usually you have loads to choose from but not here .. the food is not great, if you are fussy your not finding much at all. If your open to eating anything you'll be fine. Usually I eat fish and plain rice but even that isn't here, the rice isn't plain and the fish is deep fat fried. There is a lovely little salad bar and cold pastas available which if you don't mind what your eating can be nice for lunch. They also have a pasta station so you can have pasta with tomato or creamy sauce. There aren't many dishes at all to choose from and for a Tui blue resort I honestly cannot believe my eyes. The hotel is 3* at most but with a luxury touch of the modern asthetic hotel and pool areas.
The enterainment, well that's dire! .. Everyone complains, you may have a singer or a band some nights but you need to get there early as the one bar (which they also hold the entertainment at, is only small and isn't big enough for all the guests to be at). There is only one inside bar/ enterainment venue. The rest of the nights was basic little quizes for half hour that's it. The entertainment really needs to up it's game, nothing like anything I've ever been to before. It's not the country as I've been to plenty of other countries like this. It's the actual hotel, they need a shake up in the enterainment and food aspect big time. If your looking to come here for a quiet holiday and go to bed early this is your holiday.. if your after a little bit of life ( nothing spectacular just in general, this is not the place to come!!) .. I actually feel sorry for some of the younger ones who have come here and are literally bored out of their brains.
The outside of the hotel, go exploring, we have loads of times and it's safe enough! .. Yes it's dirty and smells funny but safe! Be careful people will pretend they work at your hotel and then want to take you around to show you for 5 minutes then all of a sudden your needing to pay them for their time which you never asked for.
Definitely go quad biking on the hill dirt track trails! Absolutely amazing but some parts are challenging so be prepared, if your not really experienced or get nervous go on the flat root. Some day trips can be long so be careful of that. Go to the medina, fun but once you've seen it once, it's all the same thing. Get the free shuttle bus there and back but book at reception the day before. You can exchange money at reception so bring English cash. There is not really alot more to say about the hotel, it's clean, tidy and aesthetically pleasing but be mindful of coming if your expecting abit more. I wish I had read a review like this before coming as I probably wouldn't have choosen this hotel due to the lack of entertainment at all and the poor selection of food."
