"First time visitors and would definitely recommend TUI Blue Medina Gardens.
Hotel was great, staff were some of the friendliest I have encountered.
Food fantastic great variety and had additional sit down and order off menu which you could book and visit once in evening for 7 day visit but could go each lunchtime without booking. Burger, chicken dish and salads were fab and evening meal beef medallions and creme brûlée. Buffet restaurant was also fab with different themes every night you could always find something you liked and staff would serve you beer, water and wine too. Rooms were nice, ours were a little bit tired for example peeling material on headboard etc but overall good and clean. You can order on app or call reception to borrow iron and ironing board, but be sure to be at room to use it as if you don't take it in room to use they can collect it if someone else asks for it within 30 mins or so which is fair enough. The App you download is so good, tells you everything going on and you can book some of the activities through it. Big shout out to also the entertainment staff Dino, Micheal, Jak were so enthusiastic, funny and great to get everyone involved and how they keep up their energy and smiles all day I don't know. Entertainment pretty good the live bands were great.
Both pools heated, if you cant get a bed round big pool (some people still do the towel reserving for more than 3 hours without being there) but plenty of beds in pretty gardens can aways find sun or shade.
Bar staff were also really friendly and good and drinks were ok too for all inclusive bar normally open until 12pm but music or entertainment finished normally by 11ish. Beer and sparkling wine were quite nice as were some of the cocktails.
We also went to the Shisha lounge which you have to pay for but was really nice and prices wasn't much different to back home in there so for an extra tasty cocktail worth paying as very chilled vibes. Just note small windy stairs to get up there and no toilet up there but easy enough to pop back down. We also tried the Skybar twice which you can get into by backdoor in the building next to tennis courts. Unfortunately, each time it was rammed and we struggled to get to the bar so we gave up and come back down. The hotel is in a prime position to walk into Marrakesh main square full of stalls and markets and it looked exactly as described. We we warned about scams in market re snakes, monkeys and henna people but it wasn't as bad as we expected. We just walked past and didn't go too near or take photos so didn't get anyone approach us. One guy did say there was a leather market on for one day only and to follow him he would show us but we noticed he was friendly walking beside us and saying go this way then this, but we was polite and said thank you but we didn't follow him as you could see the way he was trying to lead got quieter. Im sure he was going to lead us just to a cousins or something shop but we didn't risk it. Just beware of bikes and motorbikes coming down the narrow streets they are everywhere but it did add to the atmosphere and the stalls were so different. Re negotiating prices someone said always go for 1/3 of 1st said price, sometimes you walk away and they let you and sometimes we paid 1/2 of price if we was happy with it. Remember just pay what your happy to the extra little bit of money probably helps them a lot more than us. Example Fez hat started at 150 MAD we got for 50MAD. There is also a little craft market opp entrance of hotel which is so nice and just note they don't seem to negotiate prices they are labelled with set prices for items. We booked two trips through get your guide £17 for quad bikes pick up at hotel 3 hours with lift to and from place inc 1 and hour hours actually on quad bikes with break for mint tea. Other trip was ziplines near Atlas Mountains, really good fantastic views but no health and safety briefing like in uk, but we felt safe and it was good fun. They did indicate if they wave handle you showing to slow down make sure you use hand and gently grasp wire to slow do not grab it hard or you will yank your arm which can hurt. The two guys that took us round were really friendly and kind. Overall we loved it there and would definitely come back. Thank you to all the staff which made our stay what it was fab."
