Kech Boutique Hotel and Spa

"We stayed at Kech Boutique Hotel for one night before joining a small group tour to the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but getting into the Medina requires a taxi. Rooms were spacious but quite basic and in need of refurbishment. On the plus side, they did include tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. Unfortunately, our room overlooked what appeared to be an abandoned nightclub and a dumping area, making the balcony unusable. There was also significant road noise during the night, which made it difficult to rest. The central pool area was pleasant and one of the better aspects of the hotel. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast the next morning was a disappointing experience. With multiple tour groups departing at the same time, there were large queues before opening, and the dining area quickly became overcrowded and chaotic. While it may have improved later, the experience at peak time was poor. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, particularly the door staff and porters, which was appreciated. Having read other positive reviews, our experience unfortunately didn’t match expectations. Overall, it was just about acceptable for one night, but we would not choose to stay again."

"The staff was extremely helpful and everyone was very accommodating. Everyone here was super nice and as a college kid sometimes people think less and treat you differently than other guests, but this hotel was absolutely amazing and made our last day in Marrakech completely worth it."
