"It is very quiet at night, even though it is a densely built-up area. The mattress is great. The hotel radiates a family atmosphere, which I prefer. The staff is accommodating. The simple room was completely sufficient & I also found the breakfast to be varied. The only thing that bothered me was that I had to cover the drains in the shower and in front of the shower with towels. Furthermore, I left the ventilation in the bathroom on the entire time, otherwise it would have smelled like urine. There are probably structural defects in the sewage system. With my approach, I was ultimately able to prevent the repeatedly occurring stench. Montenegro is impressive & so varied."

"The hotel is clean and well set back from the main road. The room we had was right next to the desk and although we were upgraded to a suite, it had no view. The bedroom view was onto the storage area for the staff. So the curtains remained closed for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was good with a decent choice but evening meals were bland. Only two choices for each course. I’d go bed and breakfast over half board. The hotel owner is surly and miserable. His family and their friends commandeered four of the 12 sunbeds and one of the tables for four every day. This isn’t very professional in my opinion. Two days out of the seven we were there we couldn’t get sunbeds. The pool area is spotlessly clean and the lady who cleans it is lovely. Quiet location with parking which was tight to say the least. The main highlight to this hotel is the two lovely young men who work long hours every day and can’t do enough for the paying guests. The lady on reception is also very helpful and pleasant. Petrovac beaches are very crowded and although pretty this is spoiled by the sun bed people trying (and failing) to rip tourists off. We were told 40 euros which when we told him no way he said how about 20 euros. We declined! Overall, Petrovac is nice, clean and feels safe, we wouldn’t go back. Tivat airport was chaotic and packed. The infostructure can’t cope with the amount of tourists. Also we were told by our lovely taxi driver to always agree a price when using taxis before you get in one. They make up their own numbers."

"We stayed at Hotel Harmony by Aycon recently, and while the location and day-to-day staff were pleasant, our experience was ruined by an aircon defect, resulting in non-existent sleep quality, and dishonest management after check-out. Our room was located right next to reception and was extremely noisy. When we brought this up, we were told it was because we booked the "best available rate"—something never disclosed beforehand. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit had a defect that made a distinct noise every 1–2 minutes all night. A staff member came up to our room at 9:30 PM, verified the issue, and acknowledged the fault. He said there was nothing he could do about it. The main bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed mattress was mediocre. When we requested a discount at checkout for the lost sleep, the manager refused. After we followed up by email, management’s response was to lie and deflect: they claimed the staff member who visited our room at 9:30 PM was "part of the pool maintenance team" and that management was "unaware" of the issue. This same staff member checked us in, handed us our keys, processed our payment at reception, and phoned management on our behalf at checkout. Deflecting accountability with absurd excuses rather than fixing a verified defect shows a total lack of respect for guests. Breakfast was good and varied, and general food is basic but fairly priced. A tip for families: there is no children’s menu, so it’s best to order one standard portion for kids to share. The location is great with beaches within walking distance, and while the pool is very small, it's fine for a quick dip. However, four pool sunbeds were permanently reserved for "friends of the hotel," leaving very few for other paying guests. Parking is also a bit of a faff as you must ask reception to open the gates every time you come or go. Overall, frontline staff are friendly, but management’s dishonesty and failure to address clear room defects mean we cannot recommend staying here."
