Montenegro’s beach-and-boulevard chill zone
Dobra Voda is a small Adriatic resort on Montenegro’s Bar Riviera, best known for its easy beach days and no-fuss summer vibe. (Quick note: it’s closer to Bar than Tivat, but it still works nicely if you’re flying into Tivat and road-tripping the coast.)
The star of the show is Veliki Pijesak Beach, a long strip with clear water and a lively promenade feel. Spend your mornings swimming and sunbathing, then wander the seafront for coffee stops, ice creams and that “one more dip” temptation. Want to explore? Hop over to Stari Bar (Old Bar) for atmospheric ruins and hillside views, or go bigger with a day trip towards Skadar Lake for nature, boat rides and a totally different side of Montenegro.
Back in Dobra Voda, evenings are simple and satisfying: seafood by the water, a stroll past the moored boats, and a nightcap while the sea does its sparkly thing. It’s relaxed, friendly, and built for switching off properly. Bring beach shoes, arrive hungry, and leave with salty hair and a very smug camera roll.
