"Firstly, the cleanliness of the room was extremely disappointing. The room did not appear to have been cleaned properly each day. When we returned to the room at the end of each day the room was left more and more similarly the way it was left from the night before.
Used cups weren’t cleared away and replaced with news ones, so when we tried to take clean cups from the restaurant we were told we could not take anything out so we had nothing to drink from in the room come morning time. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned and the general standards dropped day by day, so much so the cleaners weren’t doing anything more than making the bed.
One day we put all the dirty cups and rubbish by the door for them to take and they just picked it all up and put it back on the dresser. There were drain flys around the bathroom sink confirming it had not been cleaned in days.
In addition to the cleanliness, there was ongoing building work taking place during my stay. This caused significant noise and disruption, making it difficult to relax and enjoy the facilities. At no point prior to my arrival was I informed that construction work would be taking place, and had I known, I may have reconsidered my booking so due to this, we had to pay extra for sun beds at other resorts and beach clubs to get some quiet.
There was a ‘beer garden’ and ‘The star club’ advertised on your website and signs all around the hotel with an inviting menu but had not yet even been built. We feel there has been a mass amount of false advertisement. In addition to the false advertising, there is no signs around your cash points saying they will charge to withdraw money, therefore unknowingly I was charge €5.99 to withdraw. Had I been inform like I should have been by signage or on the machine I would have continued paying with my card.
Along with this false advertisement, we were under the impression due to the information on your website that’s the ‘café Mika’ was also included in the all inclusive, this was also false.
Being all inclusive at your hotel, I have to say this is completely pointless due to 90% of the food and drinks on the menu had to paid for separately. You charge €2.60 for bottled water in the room and disgustingly stopped us from filling our reusable bottles up at the “all inclusive” restaurant.
As advertised on your website, there was meant to be a privet beach for guests only, unfortunately there were children running around knackered clearly not from the hotel, considering I was told to “cover up” in the restraint even though I had a dress on, we did not appreciate the child nudity whilst trying to relax and no hotel staff monitoring this for the comfort of their paying guests.
Most concerning of all, I discovered hair in my food while dining at the hotel. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns regarding hygiene and food preparation standards. Due to this disgusting discovery we felt we had to dine out most evenings which completely defeats the purpose of an all inclusive. This was yet another cost we didn’t not expect to have due to your hotel’s incompetence.
Overall, this experience fell well below reasonable expectations, particularly considering the amount paid for the stay. Your hotel is considered a 4 star but this experience was way under 2 stars."
