"A truly exceptional stay at the Columbus! ❤️ From our arrival, we were welcomed with a lot of kindness, attention, and benevolence. A big thank you to Andrea at the front desk, as well as to Adrian and William, the valets, for their warm welcome, their availability, and their professionalism. The entire team took great care of us. We also really appreciated the tips and recommendations for our outings and restaurants, notably the Buddha-Bar and the Amazónico. Very beautiful discoveries! A real plus as well: the possibility of charging our Porsche Macan during our stay, very convenient. The hotel is ideally located near the Louis II stadium, the rooms are very clean, and the breakfasts are excellent. Thank you to the entire team for this magnificent stay and for all these little touches that make the difference. During our next visit to Monaco, we will return to the Columbus without hesitation! ❤️"

"On arrival at hotel we were met by the Concierge Tony who took our luggage and later delivered to our room once ready . He was extremely professional and friendly. We had just come off a Silversea cruise so were early . Our room was not ready . The girl who checked me in was friendly but did not seem aware of the package booked with American Express Platinum card . This continued throughout our stay . We had requested an early check in but did not get our room until 3 pm which was normal check in . Tony directed us to the marina and wonderful restaurants just 5 minutes from the hotel . We had lunch there which was excellent. Our room was a standard room . They did not upgrade us as hotel was busy . This was fine as upgrade with Amex is subject to availability. The room was facing the Princess Grace gardens and had a small balcony .The bed was very comfortable . The next morning reception advised me that they had not taken enough money from my Amex card . I told them I would come to the desk later when I returned from Monaco . Once again Tony was extremely helpful and organised the hotel shuttle bus in to Monaco centre . It does not collect you so he gave me the bus numbers to take straight back to the hotel. It all worked well . On returning I went to reception to put more money on card . After many attempts their machine that accepts Amex was not working so they asked if I had another card . I explained that as I had booked with American Express I wanted to pay with them and gain the benefits. At that point they told me that the 85 Euro credit with Amex did not include alcohol only food . I of course queried this and the girl then apologised and said it did include alcohol. I left the desk and they called me back to say the machine was now working . Honestly . The hotel has a pool area but there was construction work going on immediately outside so difficult to relax . We were not made aware of this prior to booking . The pool is a good size with comfortable sun beds but no bar. We did not eat in the hotel but did have drinks on the terrace at the restaurant . That was very pleasant with efficient staff serving us . So back to reception , on the day of checkout I asked for a copy of the bill . This was given to me . I queried that the 85 euro credit had not been deducted , I was told this would be done at checkout . When I eventually checked out with the same girl who checked me in it took 20 minutes at least . We had a car arriving to take us to Nice . She was very pleasant but did not seem to know what she was doing . I am still not sure if our bill is correct . I am of course going to write to Amex to state that this hotel do not understand the Amex programme for Platinum card members . If they fixed this and the pool area we would return as the hotel is located in a great area of Monaco . The Concierge checking out was also excellent Not Tony ,he was on a day off."

"Good hotel, well located, pleasant staff, BUT WHAT IDEOLOGICAL ostracism!! I have never seen that in any hotel! To act like that Especially in Monaco!! I deeply regret that your establishment has made the choice to remove news channels from its television offering. BFM AND CNEWS! I can perfectly understand that a hotel adapts its offer to the expectations of its clientele. On the other hand, if this decision responds to ideological (which is obvious) or political considerations, it seems much more questionable to me. LET THE CUSTOMERS KNOW!!!! Hilton is hunting down so-called fascist media"
