"This was our first time in Malta, and we honestly didn’t know what to expect. We chose this hotel based on the reviews on Booking.com, and we were absolutely not disappointed. Hats off to the hotel staff – they were incredibly kind and attentive.
The hotel was spotless and extremely well-equipped. We had everything we could possibly need, from makeup remover pads, cotton swabs, and nail files to toothbrushes, bathrobes, and high-quality disposable slippers. The beds were huge and extremely comfortable, and the mattresses were excellent. The pillows were fine, though tastes vary.
Our room had an amazing view of the sea and the entire Sliema harbor. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of options: freshly squeezed orange juice, pancakes, scrambled eggs, croissants, salads, many types of bread, and delicious strawberry jam. Absolutely everything you could want.
The hotel also has a pool and a sauna, which could be used even in January, although we didn’t use them. The terrace was closed due to the wind in winter, but the view from our room more than made up for it.
We really appreciated the small details: a sleeping kit with earplugs and an eye mask, an espresso machine in the room with Dolce Gusto capsules, instant coffee, tea, kettle, and clear instructions. The internet worked perfectly. The TV in the room provided all the information you could need about your stay and what to explore in Malta.
In the bathroom, we had thick, high-quality towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bath amenities, and a bidet, which was very convenient. Refillable water bottles of excellent quality were available in the room and in the hallways, and fresh bottled water was replaced every day. Coffee capsules and other supplies were also replenished daily.
For dinner one night, we had a Tomahawk pork, which was excellent, and their Bavaria beer was very good too. The staff throughout our stay were friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful. On our late-flight day, check-out was easy, and we could leave our luggage safely at the hotel while exploring Malta before collecting it again.
Overall, everything was fantastic. The hotel is very clean, well-equipped, and in a great location in Sliema, perfect for exploring Malta. For the price we paid, the experience was outstanding. If we ever return to Malta, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended!
For future improvement, we would suggest that the air conditioning/heating unit be less noisy at night, as it was quite loud during our stay. It would also be very helpful if actual napkins were provided on the tables, both at breakfast and in the lobby restaurants, instead of just small paper serviettes. Other than these minor points, we had absolutely no complaints and everything else was perfect."
