Soreda Hotel

"We chose to eat in as didnt like on offer out nr us . We were greeted ok and told 33 euros with drinks for buffet . We had bit of starter and i then chose hot meals which mainly indian . From buffet to table was 3 steps and my food was tepid to taste so complained . The maitre d asked why etc . He was abrupt and i was quite intimidated in a restaurant full of guests . He tok my plate n brought back stating its at correct temp . We walked out n refused to pay . At breakfast the general manager stopped us and said you room 209 you owe money . I tried to explain . He did not meet us with a good proffesional manner etc . We said we speak at some point . Very unhappy and since eachday the staff very cold with us . They need to have more personal skills . My husband woorks in a very exclusive hotel in dorset and he knows the ropes . We are not spendiny a penn more there . Also the pool needs a revamp as bit untidy by bar . Its not a 4 star and rooms need upgrade. Its more3 star and the pillows are 2star guest house ."

"The hotel was very nice but I did not like the reception, every time when the indian were there they were very friendly but when the evening reception was there they were just ignorance receptionist rude and won't even speak to you and I found that Nepalese lady receptionist should not even be there with her so 'I'm something' shouldn't be there I don't even know how some company could even employ her with her so rude manners don't even know how to greet customers so rude. I won't be going there with the staff like that and I won't be recommending anyone else from London."
