"We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Although the room itself was beautiful, the overall experience was extremely disappointing due to the poor standard of customer service. Unfortunately, the quality of the room did not reflect the level of hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. From the beginning, we felt unwelcome. We approached reception on several occasions for advice and assistance, particularly because this was our first visit to Venice. We expected basic courtesy, helpful recommendations and clear communication. Instead, we often felt that our requests were an inconvenience rather than a normal part of the service guests should reasonably expect. One particular concern involved a receptionist who was present throughout our stay. On several occasions, I observed her using her mobile phone while at reception always on the Phone from day one untill we leave the hotel. I also witnessed an interaction in the breakfast area in which she appeared to raise her voice at a staff member in front of customers. I found this behaviour uncomfortable and inconsistent with the professional and respectful atmosphere I would expect from a hotel of this standard. The breakfast service was another major disappointment. When we asked for coffee, the responses and manner of service made us feel uncomfortable, as though our requests were unwelcome. Hospitality should make guests feel at ease, not hesitant to ask for even basic service. The woman with black hair on the phone doesnt want to listen but spend all her time on the phone thats why she doesnt bother to tell us this morning when we came for info that check out at 11am tofay small hotel not too many customers but she s buzy all the time on the phone. not welcoming at all. Furthermore, the elevator was out of order during our stay, causing additional inconvenience. The most frustrating issue occurred at check-out. We were charged an additional €100 after leaving approximately four hours later than the expected check-out time. I understand that late check-out can incur additional charges, and I accept that hotels have policies to follow. However, I was disappointed that the 11 a.m. check-out deadline and the potential financial consequences were not clearly communicated to us when we sought information about our departure arrangements. Better communication could have prevented this unpleasant surprise. Overall, we spent our stay feeling uncomfortable rather than relaxed and welcomed. The lack of assistance, disappointing breakfast service, concerns about staff conduct, elevator issue and unexpected additional charge significantly affected our experience. For the price charged, I expected a much higher standard of professionalism, courtesy and guest care. A beautiful room cannot compensate for a lack of hospitality. Guests should feel respected, informed and comfortable asking for assistance. Based on our personal experience, I would not recommend this hotel to travellers who place importance on attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. Venice offers many other accommodation options, and I believe guests should carefully consider recent reviews before booking. I hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and reviews the service standards and communication procedures provided to its guests. This review reflects our genuine experience and disappointment during our two-night stay."

"We stayed here for 1 night after flying in, we were heading to the Dolomites in the morning and wanted something close to the train station. Knew it wasn’t going to be amazing but cleanliness was not ideal. Lots of dead mosquitoes with blood stains in room and bathroom. Shower tiles were broken and overall not the cleanest bathroom but not terrible. The bed however, was awful. So uncomfortable, mattresses were thin and springy. Pillows were thin, linens were harsh."

"Dreadful experience, I had a room that shared a wall with the kitchen, from 5.30am till 7.30am there was constant banging of plates, cups and metallic dishes as the staff cooked and set up for breakfast. The toilet cistern ran all night, I couldn't stop it as the control was behind a metal plate on the walI. I went out to reception to try to get help but wasn't offered any. The shower room was very grubby, cracked tiles and missing grout and the faulty cistern.. Over priced hotel for its quality, it is not a 4 star hotel, it's a basic three star and overpriced for what you get. When I asked to see the manager I was told he comes in only every 2 to 3 weeks.. the lack of management shows."
