Hotel Galles

"We came to this restaurant as they had a good children's menu and to be fair the hot dog and milkshake was good. The adult dishes of pasta though were awful and certainly pre cooked and sauce for carbonate very watery. My dad asked for Aldente and they looked very puzzled and was not sure if they could do it. This should have rang alarm bells really. The waiter looked very stressed and nervous, only 2 serving so seemed pressured. A shame really aa pasta is such a simple dish to cook fresh and to get it this wrong is unbelievable. Wont be returning. "

"Walked along the main street near to our hotel and settled for 2 glasses of lager beer at the Hotel Galles. Very friendly service, good (Italian) beer (birra alla spina) and atmosphere added by a party of chaps watching the afternoon football transmission from the Euro competition-good humoured!"

"We didn't stay here but we ate or snacked here several times and it was lovely. The place is spotless. We were so impressed we might well stay there for an odd night or two if we visit again. Fabulous coffee. It's in a good location but may be a bit noisy when everyone promenades during each evening."
