Hotel Concordia

"Came here for a getaway with the family. Booked directly with the hotel, via phone. Communication not great. Great location, right at the very heart of the beach. Room was airy, had been recently redecorated, but was dusty/dirty. and the bed was extremely uncomfortable (Room 406). On the positive side, the shower was powerful, with plenty of hot water. Ate in the hotel's restaurant, which comes with a 10 per cent discount. Staff were friendly, attentive and food was quick to arrive. Very tasty, but portions were minuscule and prices exaggerated. Sleep was hard to come by, because of the pain inducing mattress, and this physical distress in the morning was further compounded by the hotel's reluctance to accommodate our request for a bed on the beach for an additional day. Breakfast was OK, if a little underwhelming, but staff were very friendly. Overall, a very disappointing stay, as the negatives far outweighed the positives."

"Just returned from a midweek break and stayed at this hotel Very hard working and happy staff nothing is to much trouble.. Rooms are small but clean and tidy.. Maid service is excellent our room was cleaned every day to a very high standard.. Thanks you."

"horror horror horror !!! the room is awful! the air conditioner is old and very loud. It's located in the room. we did not sleep all night and wanted to leave the hotel. The older lady who does not speak English or German did not want to return the car keys until we pay 8 nights !!! We waited for a 30-minute secretary who spoke English to arrange. They were very neat and insensitive. the only dinner is fine. Secretary was polite and ok."
