"Not clean, moldy stairs, old carpet in room, mosquitoes if windows open, really needs renovation, furnishings and curtains are very old and all things seem to be falling apart, shared tiny bathroom not well kept and small with broken toilet top, I do not recommend this stay even if it is in a good location with handy shops near by, it was very disappointing."
"I REALLY enjoyed my stay at the Casa Linger! The pictures in the description do not do the hostel justice, it I so nice! The bunk room I was in was recently remodeled & the historical touches kept in place of the 600 year old wooden beams! The bed was comfortable, new heating, new tiled bathroom, new fully functioning kitchen with an oven too, lockers with your own key (no extra charge) and very clean! Good internet signal, excellent communication with the staff who were very helpful. I liked that there is a door code to the front entrance, so that you can come and go easily. There is a key to your bunk room, very secure. It was a very comfortable 'like home' stay for me! Once you find your way around, the public water taxi's drop right off at "Aresenal" from either airport. "ACTV or Alilaguna" are economic (15 euro one way)! Nearby the hostel area is a post office, self service laundry and market/grocery store. (in the direction away form San Marco.) Highly recommended!! Just a heads up for people with knee problems. The stairs are very steep (no elevator) it is a wonderful 600 hundred year old building that is super strong & historical. No complaints...just a heads up! :-)"
"I received all the information(I.e. where my keys would be, code to get in, room number, etc ) via WhatsApp. Inconvenient to those who do not put their WhatsApp number or phone number on I’m sure. Cozy room. Gets cleaned. Only complaint is that I did not see a single person my entire stay. No housecleaning(probably because I was out for it), no desk reception, etc. I only had me and the 2 guests that showed up for The last day I was there. Interesting place. Stairs are a nightmare for those who can’t climb them easily. But cheap and overall nice. "
