Hotel Autoespresso

"Liked. Nice hotel, clean, spacious room, if a little bear on the walls, nice size bathroom and good shower. Pleasant touch having the tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was general but good, we also ate supper there twice and the food was very acceptable. A big advantage is the proximity, just a few minutes walk from two bus stops and Mestre station which gets you into Venice in 10/15 mins. I had requested a quiet room so we were away from the road, overlooking the carpark which enabled us to sleep well. I would probably recommend this hotel. Disliked · A few silly things that just annoyed a little! I found the lighting in the room very poor, def could not read at night, no info on the local area or Venice, although the staff were helpful if you asked. We did have one hard chair but there was plenty of room to have a second comfy chair and perhaps a picture or two on the walls , it was rather bear and heartless but clean."

"We had dinner in their restaurant which was delicious. The restaurant is quiet and relaxed. Many of the specialties they offer are made from sea fish and seafood. Of course they also have meat delicacies. Very creative menu. We are very satisfied."

"SCAM hotel! We asked the locals at restaurants nearby and they said it has been closed for over a year but Trip Advisor will still let you book a room! Beware! The building is empty and abandoned with smashed windows and appears to be trashed on the inside from what we can see through the windows!"
